It is designed for vertical downward installation, with options for direct motor coupling or flange connection. Larger models typically include an oil pump motor to circulate lubricating oil, ensuring ample lubrication at the upper part of the reducer.

The XLD pinwheel reducer is a novel transmission device that applies planetary drive principles and utilizes cycloidal pin-tooth meshing. The entire transmission assembly can be divided into three parts: the input section, the reduction section, and the output section. Key internal components include the cycloidal wheel, eccentric sleeve, pin gear housing, and pin gear pins. The cycloidal wheel meshes with a set of annularly arranged pin teeth on the pin gear, forming an internal meshing reduction mechanism with a tooth difference of one tooth. The cycloidal pin-tooth meshing involves a large number of teeth and a high overlap coefficient, which minimizes vibration and noise. During operation, multiple tooth pairs engage simultaneously, resulting in high重合度, smooth operation, strong overload capacity, low vibration and noise, and minimal noise across various specifications.

Main components of the cycloidal pinwheel reducer are made from bearing steel material, subjected to quenching treatment (HRC58–62) for high strength.
